West Visayas State University ranks first in the September 2024 Librarian Licensure Examination (LLE) with a 100% passing rate and two topnotchers.

Melgie Gabasa Pacardo ranked sixth with a rating of 87.90%, followed by John Albert Baisa Gayatinea in the seventh place with 87.65%.

Fourteen graduates from the University’s Bachelor of Library and Information Science Batch 2024 passed the exam.

The Professional Regulation Commission announced that 376 out of 771 examinees passed the LLE, resulting in a national passing rate of 48.77%.

The computer-based exam was given on September 10 and 11 in various testing sites.
